I would remember this place as where I paid $28 for prawn noodles. Yup, you heard right. It was supper, and other than finger food and cocktails, prawn noodles was all The Naked Finn offers. And it goes all the way up to $50! For relatively new restaurant established at the start of the year. they have good reason for the pricing, because of the ingredients. Have a look!
The place is really secluded, hidden at the base of Gillman Barracks. It was a very unassuming place with plastic coverings as walls.. and a metallic cloth sheet as roof. But the kitchen seems rock-solid!

Here's the rest of the menu. They are known for their cocktails, which we also ordered. They are indeed famous for a reason (they were deliciously made).
I ordered the Lychee Pink Grapefruit with Acacia Honey and SKYY Vodka ($20). It was delicately balanced, with the alcohol packing a punch without you realizing it because of that fragrant sweetness mixed with a bit of citrusy bitterness.
They also have wines, beers/sake and dessert.
Here are their bar snacks. My friend told me the Fugu mirin boshi ($13) was great!
In any case, back to the $28 prawn mee. Would I ever go back again to pay $28 for it? No.
Did I regret trying it? Nope.
It was actually quite the experience. The chef and co-owner of the place actually came by and was a really friendly chap who explained how he was inspired by his grandma's prawn noodles to cook something that he loves for supper. Everything in there is made with great effort (hence the price) - such as boiling the prawn and pork broth separately for 7 hours straight (no cheating by adding belachan!) and marinating the lard with olive oil (served separately).
The prawns were also sourced by them to ensure the freshest and best. I could really tell he has a huge passion for food, and that makes eating that bowl of noodles all the more gratifying. Taste-wise, it was a bit too spartan for me (even after adding all the salt and chilli) because I am more for the really sinful and unhealthy hawker stall variety.
I would give this a thumbs up only because I can tell that they are not trying to rip people off, in coming up with a version of prawn noodles they genuinely are proud of. I also heard really good reviews of their dinner menu, and lastly, you could really just go there for their amazing cocktails and a good chat.
