Yet another cafe has sprung up in the very caffeinated Duxton/Tanjong Pagar area, but MavRx Coffee Apothecary is worth its salt and expensive rent because of the awesome coffee the one guy working there serves. That's about all I can say. The space is really small, it is 1 coffee machine, 1 guy, a few cups and a bench inside and out. You go in, grab a java ($3 for espresso, $5 for double shot coffee with milk aka latte), take a few shots for Instagram, and get out.

The latte I had was phenomenal though. It tastes very similar to what I am used to at home by my brother -- smooth, non-acidic, sweet and just.. a good coffee. Once you're used to this, all other cafe coffees kinda taste a bit too bitter or strong.
