You guys must have seen my Youtube Vlog on Elixir Bar on trying 7 cocktails in a row. If not, watch first! Nestled inside KUVO Singapore at Orchard Shopping Centre (opposite Mandarin Gallery), Elixir Bar is one of the most interesting bars in town of late mainly due to the magical creativity and fantastical creations.
According to the website: "24-year-old Vladyslav Buzko is a young talent to watch in the world of bartending. Since 2016, he has participated in competitions such as the Marie Brizard UAE Cocktail Championship, Monin Cup 2016 UAE and Chivas Master 2017, emerging as one of the final contenders in all three competitions.
Vladyslav’s experience spans across prestigious establishments such as The St. Regis Doha and Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). It was at the latter where Vladyslav conceptualised his first cocktail menu for Luna Sky Bar. The bar would go on to be awarded “Most Recommended Bar in Dubai” by Timeout Dubai."
We also sampled some of the food from KUVO, which is also available at the bar. They were super good when it comes to pairing with increasingly strong cocktails.
Here are the 7 cocktails I've tried. All of it delicious and some deceptively dangerous, especially Tykhe (S$22), which is my favourite. They have a Ladies Night on Wednesdays where some classic cocktails are at $15++ though these are not in there, and they are worth the try!
All in all Elixir is a great new bar to have an entertaining experience for those looking for more than just alcohol.
