Two sundays ago (i think), we went to Little Part 1 Cafe beside thomson plaza for an early afternoon lunch. i suggested the place after visiting it a coupla weeks ago with my other group of primary school friends. I have regular Sunday meetups with my primary school classmates who live around the area - we meet up in a car and go for brunch/breakfasts! It is fun :)
On a Sunday early afternoon, the little cafe is quite empty.
One of our friends is a huge fan of board games and brought out a set for us to play. We were all skeptical of it at first, but it turned out to be really really fun. DIXIT is the name of the board game and it won best board game of the year! The illustrations are well done and really funny some times. The game is simple. We all have 6 cards in hand and we each have to go around getting at least 1 person to vote for your card, which you will describe in a sentence/word/theme and lay it on the table. Everyone else has to contribute a card on their hand that best describes that theme and try to confuse other players into voting for their cards.
Other than fun and games, we had desserts with ice creams after our meals! they are pretty average, self-raising flour type of desserts with lower quality ice cream. but they do make for pretty pictures!
