Cafe Hangout: The Coffee Daily at 75 Brighton Crescent, Serangoon Gardens Singapore

Checked this little cafe, The Coffee Daily, which is a little away from Serangoon Gardens two Sundays ago. Another one of those neat little cafes in the third wave generation,  it was actually one of the closest to my house other than Habitat Coffee, so there's no excuse for me not to visit it!

The theme of the decor? Chinese modern vintage. I LOVE IT! Look at that old school scattered marble flooring! It looks like the one I have in my room, but theirs is cooler. I wish my house can look like that, we already have some of the fittings.

Everything there seems sourced from chinese old ladies. There were old telephones, fans, pots..

The furnitures are mismatched, but all lovingly restored. This particular corner is cute, there's an "old painting" there. Great way to save some money!

I used to have an electric clock like that (but green trimmings). I think my dad threw it away recently though, aww!

So they also serve food, but since we weren't hungry, we gave it a miss. Apparently the shepherd's pie is really good. Should go back there to try it next time!

The interior. I suspect it could get noisy if there was more crowd, but since it was a lazy Sunday afternoon it was just that table.

I really like the bar table and stools. Very awesome. Wish I can show this to an interior designer and have him do my house that way!

I ordered an iced latte. Nothing remarkable except look! The background, the prints on the high chairs!

"Great place to go to hang out with friends, don't have high expectations for the coffee/food because this place stands out for its Chinese vintage decor."
