I went to one of the fanciest hotpot places that opened in Singapore this year and do not regret it. CouCou Hotpot . Brew Tea 湊湊火鍋 is a hotpot brand from Taiwan that serves up bubble tea alongside really premium hotpot and I was intrigued by its concept. So I went with my siblings to have a go at it after snagging a late 8pm slot on a Sunday (1 May). I was actually surprised that there are slots left! The restaurant's really dark too so apologies for the lack of photos.
Because this was the crowd at 8pm at Suntec. A lot of people were trying to walk-in but they were fully booked and were trying to serve those who are waiting to be seated, who also were in the queue like us. It was honestly a bit of a mess.
Here's the entrance to the gigantic restaurant. There's a boat on a foggy "lake", is that to represent the food that floats in the soup?
We ordered some really good looking beef! The presentation honestly makes everything way more atas. Prices though are a bit hefty especially for the soup base.
We really ordered quite well EXCEPT do not order any extra lettuce. Because they use the same thing to line the bottom of the meat!

Ingredients were really fresh and high quality and the overall dining experience was pretty unique in our booth. It was a treat for sure.
Because this was our bill - S$297 for 3 pax (but we had some shopback promo so it was less). Oh they gave us free ice cream, tofu to bring home and an ice blended drink as a palate cleanser at the end. I would say it was actually a pretty good hotpot IF one is prepared to pay more, but it will be for higher quality everything. Try the hot pu er milk tea too - those were really surprisingly fragrant and delicious with hotpot!
