I went to Valentino's for my birthday as well this year together with my brother and his GF. It was a great place for communal celebrations, or in my case, a long boozy lunch. The place is super old school, or classic if you would, and typical of a European restaurant. I love that about the place, because it feels like one's being transported to another dimension.
There's also a big wine cellar adjacent if you are in the mood to procure some really good Italian wines.
We started the lunch with some appetisers which tasted fresh and of course whetted our appetites for the main course.
Of course we had to have some ear-shaped crabmeat pasta in tomato sauce here!
We also had some tender pork chop that is perfectly crusted outside and juicy inside. This went so well with a white wine!
And to end off, a classic tiramisu. Couldn't have asked for a better meal to celebrate my birthday!
Highly recommended if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion to give Valentino's a try. Dishes are slightly pricey but for the overall experience and quality it is well worth it!
