Cocktail Bar Review: Stay Gold Flamingo at 69 Amoy St, Singapore 069888

A relatively new cocktail bar (to me), Stay Gold Flamingo occupies a shophouse at the end of Amoy Street which doubles as a cafe in the day and a cocktail bar at night. The front of house is a small bright space, and entering the cocktail bar, you'll be transported to a night sky of shimmering stars and semi-darkness elsewhere. I went with a friend to finally check out their drinks during Happy Hour.

Here's their golden hour menu where cocktails are at $16 each.

We also ordered two bites. The Tofu Express (S$10) sounded interesting with the coconut cream and chilli concoction but unfortunately the tofu was a bit too tough. 3/5

The Nahm Prik Wings (S$10) with chopped peanuts and coriander was better. But it was as addictive as I hope and the chicken was a tad dry. Still, this over the tofu, unless you're a vegetarian. 3.5/5

I can't remember which cocktail I had, but it was quite smooth and dangerous since you cannot taste the alcohol (but its there).

The cocktails are worth it during happy hour, but I can't say the same for the food. Still a really nice place to have a drink and chill and chit chat during sunset hour.

🙅 Thank you, next
