Ice Cream Parlor: Creamier at 128 Lorong 1 Toa Payoh, Singapore

Was introduced to a new ice cream place that is relatively near my place by my boss when we went for a meeting around Toa Payoh last week. Started by a couple, Creamier Handcrafted Ice Cream and Coffee is just what a busy estate like Toa Payoh needs! Pretty soon, other than the ice cream haven in Thomson, I hope one makes it to AMK as well.

The little cafe itself was bustling when we were there on a weekday after lunch. That's good!

Just realized this dude was staring at me when I took this photo. Oops! Looks quite artistic though.
Like a English novel.

They also seem to sell a range of very interesting beer! Look at that owl and rabbit beers! I must go back to try. Saw on their Facebook Page that they have lychee and honeydew melon beer too. Always wanted to try!

For the ice cream itself, boy do they have a range. From here I can see.. Banana chocolate chip crumbles, espresso, ginger masala, cookies & cream, lime mojito, pineapple chili sorbet, something banana sorbet. That's not it. They have like 2x more flavors!

I also like their little touches of decor.

Very cosy and pleasant.

Finally, against the back drop of my boss' Paul Smith shirt, is my flavor of choice - earl grey lavender! It is really creamy and chock full of flavor.

A serious competitor to the likes of Udders, Tom's Palette and Salted Caramel, I am hoping that Creamier will make it because it is obvious that a lot of effort went into the place. It shows in the decor, and in the ice cream which is absolutely delicious. Thumbs up!

  2. I think it is an offence to post recognisable pictures of people without their permission online. It is also rude to take pictures of people without their permission. I think that's why that dude was staring at you; he doesn't look too happy.
