Event Report: OMY.SG Singapore Blog Awards 2012

Attended the OMY.SG Blog Awards 2012 couple of Saturdays ago to find out who won and meet some friends. It was held at the Singapore Flyer. I didn't realize the Heritage Food Trail was also at the Flyer, which is really cool because the decor was done well to bring out the vintage style of our yesteryears.

We had a light meal with a horse. From the horse's mouth, the carrot cake was "ok only".

I really liked the amount of detail put into the place though.

Here's the set up just beside the food place. It is outdoors so it was quite warm. In fact, it was sweltering!

The dress code of the event is Superheroes. Some of the people really did dress up to fit the theme, which is really cute!

Also met up with a bunch of Youth.SG campus spies, and the 2 nominated contestants Christine (beauty blogger) and Steph aka Stooffi (lifestyle blogger). Christine dressed up as a superhero with cool makeup and a fiery red dress!

Steph was Super Hello Kitty. Cat ears check, kitty specs check, superhero cape check. All set!
