JBL Horizon Clock Radio Review & Giveaway

I LOVE technology. Some people might think it is a bit too overwhelming and complicates life, but if you think about 15 years ago and now, it's just so amazing how far we have progressed, that it just seems magical. This is especially evident when I reach home to an pre-lit room (my Philips HUE lights are connected to WIFI, and can sense as I am reaching home), and I start to stream my favorite Spotify playlist via my HTC One M8 by connecting to the new JBL Horizon Clock Radio (RRP: $159) using Bluetooth, while looking at how many steps I've taken that day with my Mi Band fitness tracker and how many hours of deep sleep I've clocked the night before.

Speaking of sleep, the new JBL Horizon is not just a speaker but also a nifty alarm clock that can wake you up with ambient light and sound. For a such a portable and small device, I was really impressed with the sound quality and usability. It even comes with two high-speed USB charging slots so I can place this beside my bed to charge up my HTC One M8 AND iPad.

I love it! As you can see I am enjoying having it in my room after the end of a long Monday...

There really isn't anything to fault with the JBL Horizon clock radio with bluetooth, except maybe if it could come with a very simple remote controller for me to switch between FM and Bluetooth and/or snooze the alarm remotely (i.e. in the depths of my bed)...
