It was definitely packed on a Saturday 4pm but there are still seats available - and ventilation was also surprisingly decent.
Walking around, there are many many stalls to choose from (list of them on their website).
I finally settled for Chilly Pan Mee because I loved it when I went to KL!
The Chilly Pan Mee (S$4) looked rather anaemic when I got it with the pale ban mian and minced meat with mushrooms and ikan bilis, but once I mixed in the egg and chilly, it was a different story.
It was really delicious - the noodles were really smooth and soft without being soggy and the chilly had a nice kick to it without being killer on my tastebuds. The mushrooms were just the right amount of braise, and the ikan bilis crunchy.
O utside of the Malaysia Boleh! food court at the same AMK Hub basement 2, I also spied 3 notable new stalls - Eng's Wantan Noodles of Katong fame, Qiji (not pictured) as well as Jian Bo chwee kueh. I got Eng's delivered before to my house even before seeing the stall - I think it is best to have it fresh.
I'll try this soon - looks good!
I am liking the even more food options available at AMK Hub now that these stalls are open!
Be sure to check them out.
