Cafe Hangout: Yahava KoffeeWorks at 4 Jalan Gelenggang, Singapore 578188

The weekend is upon us! It had been a crazy sort of week where you get out of it and go, what a minute what just happened.

Just wanted to share a coffee place with you guys and gals in this post as I realized I haven't done them in a while. This Yahava KoffeeWorks had been on my radar for a while but I've just never got around to getting there, even though it is relatively near to where I stay at Upper Thomson area. In fact it is just a block away from Ice Cream Chef and Irvin's Seafood.

What I heard was that this place is a franchise from Australia. The decor's pretty cool.

Walking in, it looked surprisingly bright and cheery. The space is also HUGE. You see a map on the wall because apparently the 2 guys who started it travelled around the world to bring all the good stuff to Yahava.

They sell their own beans and assorted koffee things.

The staff were all very friendly - there was even a coffee tasting session going on that we were urged to attend, but nah, we'll just buy some of our own.

Prices are reasonable. They mostly serve beverages, but I saw some pastries on display too.

And they know their koffee! I asked one of the staff what's special about Yahava, and he said it's the fact that their coffee is from all over the world.

The interior "chamber".

Here's the guy giving out some tasters. This is also one of the few places that allow you to taste before you buy.

I love koffee apparatuses. Makes me feel like I'm back in the science lab.

And here's the koffee! Lebbit for my brother. Deformed bear's someone else's cup.

I had an iced latte - it was alright. But my brother said that he didn't really like the Yahava Koffee.. to each their own I guess!

I'll still recommend for you to check the place out if you are a koffee fan - just to immerse yourself in a bit of passion and read a book or two there.
