Seems like when you check Instagram or Facebook or Twitter on a Saturday from noon onwards, it will always been filled with check-ins and photos of brunch happening all across the city. It's no surprise too, if one can wake up in time for it, that brunch is undoubtably one of the best meals to have. Brunch signifies no work - leisurely bites of eggs and toast in between paper reads and relaxed conversations.

It is my absolute favourite, in any case. Yesterday I checked out one of the brunch places I've bookmarked long time ago on HGW - Choupinette. I was surprised to find it situated just beside Coronation Plaza, a few doors down the popular Sogurt that I like to frequent!

It is very french. It is also quiet a small space, but when you walk in and is greeted by the smell of fresh bread, it is very comforting. I love the wooden tables and mismatched furniture that is for sale. Sounds of contemporary french music wafts through the cosy room.

I ordered the English Coq set (SGD 19+). It came with a juice AND a hot drink from the menu. I ordered the tomato juice and latte. I love tomato juice.

The set consisted of scrambled eggs, 1 chicken sausage, 1 tomate provencale, mushrooms, wholemeal bread roll with butter. I love scrambled eggs. Or eggs done in any way, actually. It was so good.

An absolutely delightful meal. The items tastes as good as they look.

My friend had the smoked salmon eggs benedict. It was the best breakfast he has ever tasted.
The best! I had a bite and I have to agree, it was perfection served on a plate.

Here's another angle of my plate.  YUM.

Our sets! Super duper good. Major rave. You planning for brunch next week? Go there.

They also serve French dinners at quite affordable pricing. Perhaps I will check that place out at night one day. But for now, this is a good solid place for brunch. J'adore le Choupinette!
